In this The Return of the JYJ concert, 26 songs were performed in each show which ran for about three hours. For the solo performances, both Jaejoong and Junsu performed up to five tracks each, while Yoochun did four. JYJ was accompanied by six live concert band members on stage, and 16 backup Korean and Japanese dancers.
JYJ was reportedly to have been practicing closely to 10 hours a day for the shows. The concert stage in Tokyo Dome. The Return of the JYJ concerts featured three separate stages including the main stage, and two circular B-stage and C-stage, resembling the shape of a flower.
All three stages were connected with one long catwalk. The B and C-stages were designed as turntable platforms which can be raised up to 5 meters high. Above the main stage hoisted three lifts shaped in gears for the opening performance where JYJ descended to the main stage to start the shows.
Behind the main stage sat a big LED screen and two side screens suspended above the stage to show close-ups of each member of JYJ.
The live band members were placed in maze-like bunkers on the main stage. The first act ended with an opening talk where the trio greeted their fans. The second act proceeded with two rounds of solo performances. At the bridge of the song, Jaejoong introduced all six live band members on stage. Towards the end of the song, Junsu and the backup dancers concluded the bridge and final chorus of the song at the B-stage.
The stage was adorned with maze silhouette structure and JYJ emerged at the main stage in full black outfits against a backdrop of visuals depicting clocks on the video screen. The trio would throw autographed color balls to fans while on their respective carts. The encores were joined by JYJ dancers in similar white T-shirts. The first official promotional poster for the concerts was unveiled on March 22, Digital advertisements for the concerts were broadcast and JYJ promotional trucks were operated in Shibuya, Tokyo. Various advertisements were made on local newspapers as well.
